Appointment Details
Multiple Booking Discount
A 10% discount per treatment is applied when treating four or more equine or canine patients at the same location with consecutive appointment times.
Travel charges may apply.
Important information prior to your session
Prior to your session, I kindly ask you to ensure the following points are met to ensure the best treatment for your animal:
- Completed Veterinary Referral Form*
*Consent from your vet is a legal requirement prior to treatment. For any known conditions, discussion with the vet and myself may be required to ensure treatment is safe and appropriately tailored, in the best interest of the animal. - Equine: Allow 1.5-2 hours for an initial assessment and 1 hour for follow-up appointments.
- Canine: Allow 1-1.5 hours for an initial assessment and 50 minutes for follow-up appointments.
- Please ensure the animal is clean and dry.
- The owner or responsible person must be present.
- Please note, exercise may be restricted following the session, this will be discussed during treatment. Please keep this in mind when booking!
- Contraindications. I am happy to discuss these if there are any concerns.
Payment information
Payment Methods
Payments can be made by BACS or cash.
Full payment is required before or on the appointment day.
Insurance Claims
Treatment must be paid in full before an invoice and receipt are issued for insurance claims. A referral letter from the veterinarian is required for treatments eligible for insurance coverage.
Appointment Cancellations / Missed Appointments
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations or rescheduling require 48 hours’ notice. Failure to provide 48 hours’ notice will incur a £20 cancellation fee.
Cancellation within 24 hours or on the day will incur full payment fee.
Missed Appointments
Missed appointments will incur a full payment fee for all animals booked. Payment for the next appointment will be required in full at the time of booking.
Refusal to Treat
Anna Barker McTimoney Veterinary Chiropractic reserves the right to refuse providing treatment to any patient at any time due to health concerns, requirement of further veterinary intervention or if the animal is deemed unsafe to treat. In these circumstances, an assessment fee of £20 will be required.
Travel charge policy
Extra mileage costs may be added if outside regular treatment area. Please contact for more information.
Veterinary Consent
Please note veterinary permission is required prior to treatment as per the legal requirement of the Veterinary Act 1966.
